Over the past year and a half (from summer 2007), J.O.B. Design and Construction Co. Inc. donated their services as the General Contractor and Builder for the Pottstown World War II Memorial located in Memorial Park, Pottstown PA. We have been very much involved in the designing, fundraising, and building aspects of the project.
We have worked closely with the veterans who have taken charge of this project, and have donated a lot of time and resources towards their efforts by hosting meetings, working on the design and structure of the memorial, collecting fundraising money, and worked on the installation of the memorial, the pavers, and benches around it.

2011 Skills Competition
At the 2011 BIE Homeshow, J.O.B. along with the BIE sponsored a "Skill Build" competition between several area vocational schools. Each team had 6 students; 2 carpenters, 2 plumbers, and 2 electricians. The teams were given 5 hours and a set of plans to build 2 walls and the rough-in plumbing and electric for a bathroom. J.O.B. president John O'Boyle was one of the judges, who looked at how the students worked as a team, the speed to complete the project, and the final product at the end. It was a great opportunity for the students to test their skills and get constructive criticism from industry experts.
